Why would Elliott give up a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom palace, where he pays
$200 a month, in a great neighborhood... to move to this tiny shoe
box? That made no sense to me. And the storyline wasn't even resolved.
If I recall correctly, Ally lives next to Jack with Hannah. So Elliott
lives on the other side? How does Jack not get stiffled?
I'm still not a fan of the Jack/Elliott storylines. Those two are only
funny together when Maya is involved. But man, Elliott must be loaded,
to give a year's rent in advance. In this super fancy building. In New
York. I guess he got tired of living in a big apartment. But damn,
brother! For 200 bucks I'd room with Saddam.
Anyway. The episodes were okay. I'm not sure how I felt about Simon's
parents. Then again, I'm not sure how I feel about Simon. The fake
accent is too distracting.
Favorite quote:
Maya: A lot of adults cannot get past the parent/child dynamic. It's
tragic, really.
Jack: (passing by) Hey, princess.
Maya: (desperately) Hi, daddy!
Lol. For some reason the Maya/Jack relationship is really funny this
season, albeit scarce. I remember at the beginning of the season Maya
thinking, "Why doesn't my father love me?" out of nowhere. Love it.
I also got a kick out of there being a sexual position called The Van
Horn. Of course! It makes sense, lol. I miss crazy Nina.
So this is it. Two episodes left, and we're done. I'm gonna cry my
eyes out so hard next week. I don't even wanna watch it :(
