I will not spoil anything in deference to you west coast people, and
to
Audra who thinks she is not getting the show tonight

I will just say that the first one really made me laugh, and the
finale was really touching. And there were touching moments in the
first and good laughs in the finale.

Excellent.

More to come

Did they show the last two in the correct order, i.e. Nina's wedding
*then* Jack's retirement. We saw those two back-to-front here.

Yes, they were in the correct order here. Thankfully.

I thought Nina's wedding was, by and large, a very *funny* episode,
starting with that scene where she addresses all the people she's *not*
inviting. I was a little surprised that you advised us to get the
tissues out. But it did have its touching momements at the end,

Nina telling Maya "you'll get it right the first time"

and - easy to miss - the fact that Elliot's touching speech was actually
made up by Finch, whispering the words to him.

If they'd shown Jack's retirement first, with all those sad farewells -
and I really felt the cast was saying goodbye to each other as well -
it would have been hard to watch another show a minute later.

But I would have.
