no JSM today??

Is it just me or did NBC once again cop out on us and not aire the eps
they'd planned to tonight? I hope it wasn't just in my neck of the woods...
I can't complain too much as I would have missed half of the first one (I
took the tape out of the VCR then forgot to put it back in! Bad Audra!) but
I just hope they pick up where they left off next week!

A morning of internet searches had revealed that apparently, and for reasons
unknown, Abbotsford is no longer getting the new Just Shoot Me eps...
Yesterday "Northwest Backroads Great Escapes" was shown instead. and,
according to the Abbotsford online tv guide (with is quite reliable) "To the
Ends of the Earth and Timbuktu" will be on next week during the Just Shoot
Me slot of 8pm to 9pm! Why? Why???



I checked out all the time frames and channels from 6pm to midnight and no
new JSM was present on either yesterday or Saturday the 26th Arg!



So...I wrote an e-mail to NBC asking them if they knew why it was pre-empted
(or pulled?) here, and if it would be returning. I'm not sure if they're
the ones to talk to, but it was worth a shot. Have yet to hear anything but
I just wrote it this morning.



It really doesn't make any sense. all the other shows seem to be the same
(ie: the shows the NBC site says are playing tonight seems to be playing
tonight.) It's just JSM.and apparently just here. Why does NBC hate me??



In the meantime, can someone please do me a huge favour and record them for
me next week?? (and until they magically reappear here, as I hope they
will!) I really really want to see "The Goodbye Girl" especially (the first
one next Sat. I think) since that's the one I saw them filming. I'd be ever
so grateful!!!

Wow, Audra, this is so bad, and I know how much you love the show. I
will send them to you.

This is not the first I have heard of something like this, I used to
check out the board for Whose Line (another show I think is funny) and a
woman wrote in and said that she wasn't getting WL and Drew Carey even
when the rest of the country was...but that's awful.

If it will make you feel better the 2 from last night were *very* funny
in fact I watched them through a second time...and I have just figured
out again how to copy from my old VCR to my new one so I will send these
to you...but maybe if you call the station they could tell you what's
going on??? And is there by any chance another NBC station you can pick up?
